Central New York school district officials say they are pleased Gov. Cuomo has lifted the yellow and orange Covid zones, which also lifts a requirements for schools to do rigorous coronavirus testing.
Under the designations, schools had to conduct Covid-19 testing of certain percentages of their in-school population to meet the requirements. Districts first had to seek permission from the required number of students and staff.
