EAST LYME, CT A man who police said was wanted on a warrant out of Rochester, NY on a menacing with a weapon charge was arrested Saturday. Police said they conducted a routine traffic stop on Flanders Road.
Officers determined that the driver, David Roman, 24, of Brooklyn, NY, had an active warrant out for his arrest. Officers investigated and found 1.1 ounces of a substance believed to be fentanyl along with other items related to drug sale and paraphernalia in the car, according to police.
Roman was charged with fugitive from justice, operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating without insurance.

David Roman, 24, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged Saturday with being a fugitive from justice, operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.

Lucas Davis, 18, of Chester was charged Saturday with first-degree trespass.
Angelica Suarez-Herrera, 45, of 105 Shaw St. was charged Saturday with risk of injury to a child.
Ramon Bonano, 36, of 13 Melrose Park Road, Norwich, was charged Friday with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and speeding.
Brian Gauger, 43, of Colchester was charged Friday with second-degree criminal mischief.
