Preview: Comedy-magician Larry Wilson to open 2021 season at Kellar s magic, comedy club in Erie

Kellar s: A Modern Magic & Comedy Club kicks off its 2021 season this weekend with headliner Larry Wilson, who s excited to visit Erie and see the eponymous place that other entertainers have raved about since its opening in 2020. A number of other performers that I know who were there last year before things got shut down were saying, You re not gonna believe this place, said self-proclaimed comedy-magician Wilson. I can t wait to see it.
Formerly Jr. s Last Laugh Comedy Club, Kellar s has been refurbished and festooned with magic memorabilia, custom-designed interactive magic and illusion installations. The grand display of the golden age of magic posters is a sight to see along with original letters from Houdini, Kellar and other top magicians throughout history, according the club s website.

One year after being forced to close due to COVID-19, Mamarapha College, a Seventh-day Adventist school for Indigenous Australians, has finally welcomed students back into its classrooms.
The government of Western Australia, where the school is located, had imposed regional borders within its state to ensure that remote, vulnerable Indigenous communities were not exposed to coronavirus.
This, in addition to state border closures, meant that students have not been able to attend the college in person.

During the closure, workbooks were posted to students, but holding virtual classes was difficult, especially for the remote students with limited internet access.

We were working on a run down of Gary Kubiak s best moments as a Texan and it was easy to come up with them. But I have a few of my own.
It s the first playoff game in team history. The stadium is in a frenzy as the team is about to be introduced. Bum Phillips walks out of the tunnel and every hair on the back of every neck is standing up. I still get chills thinking about it.
Here s Kubiak, the former Luv Ya Blue era ball boy, coaching the hometown team in the post season, with the legendary coach leading the team out. There was no way the Texans would lose that day.
