A STUDY exploring improvements to Scalloway’s waterfront is set to begin imminently. The contract for a Scalloway Waterfront and Town Centre feasibility study has been awarded to consultants Ironside Farrar. The award of this contract comes as a result of funding of £81,000 awarded to the Scalloway Community Development Company (SCDC) from the Crown Estate Fund, administered by the Shetland Islands Council. 12 of 13Adverts The fund will also pay towards the hire of a development worker for an initial period of one year to support this and other related projects.
