DRPG acquires screen content agency | Conference News

DRPG has announced that it has acquired London-based screen content agency A-Vision, expanding its creative and content development capabilities. A-Vision provides communication solutions from film and video, production, and digital servicing to clients such as Apartments.com, CoStar group, and Avaya. Andrew Smith, creative director and owner of A-Vision, said: “there is already a great working relationship and joint respect with both Dale and I. Joining DRPG is expanding opportunities for A-vision, DRPG and the brands we both work with. We have installed super complex interactive screen content and bonkers resolution across America and A-Vision is well placed to take DRPG’s experiential offering to the next level. We are committed to the joining of forces and looking forward to allowing the innovations to come together as part of the wider group and see what we can create as one.”

ICE community expands to Germany

ICE community expands to Germany The UK-based International Corporate Event community (ICE), creators of the ICEAWARDS, ICEDAY, ICETALK and ICEONLINE resources for the in-house corporate event organising community, has announced the brand’s expansion into the German events market. “Many of our attendees to the ICEAWARDS and ICEDAY come from around the world, and a few of our community members in Germany got in touch as they felt it wasn’t an event they had replicated in their country,” commented Anita Howard, CEO and founder, ICE. The expansion will kick off on 9 December 2021, in partnership with the German corporate event market and follows the creation of an ICEGERMANY steering group, including representatives from Siemens, SAP, T-Systems International, Bayer, BBC, Deutsche Bank and Roche; as well as others who, together with partners DRPG and the German Convention Bureau, will drive the organisation across the country’s events community.

DRPG set up in-house Covid-19 testing centre

22 January 2021 - Submitted by Olivia Powell Submitted by Olivia Powell on 22 January 2021 Global creative communications agency DRPG has implemented new measures to help ensure the safety of its employees and visitors to its studio complex in Worcestershire. Working closely with BHA medical, professor Richard Lyon and health and safety specialist Alan Law Associates, DRPG have created an in-house Covid-19 testing centre using government-approved Antigen rapid tests, which give results within 15 minutes.  Alan Law said: “In planning the Test Centre, DRPG partnered with medical suppliers, healthcare experts, health and safety advisors and applied all current UK.Gov guidance on the measures that needed to be put in place to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission to the lowest possible level.
