Records Show MSBA Offers Options for Site Change Before Town Vote

Nauset – In January 2021, it had been reported by numerous media outlets that it had received two extended high school project extensions from MSBA (partially pandemic related). Nauset had hoped to receive a 3rd extension in January 2021, but seemed nervous about taking that step. MSBA s Jack McCarthy was quoted as saying that the district never asked for a third extension and he guessed they made an assumption (presumably that it would have been denied). Lowell – District records show that in 2018, MSBA allowed it to resubmit a new Preferred Schematic Report with a change to a downtown site and an addition/renovation for its new high school. Day of fun at Ulverston Dale Street School in 1988

Pupils from Dale Street School at Ulverston were among those taking part in a science and technology fun day in 1988. Science and technology are fun was the theme for primary school pupils from the south of Cumbria who gathered at Ulverston Victoria Lower School. Organiser for the day was Tim Keys, an education inspector with an interest in science, who was assisted by Caronne Field, an adviser for science and technology. They were helped out by sixth form students from Ulverston Victoria High School. Highlight of the day was the great egg race in which 250 primary school pupils who had been given the task to make working models of clocks, put the results of their endeavours on display in competition.
