Woman touched inappropriately by jogger on busy road A woman was sexually assaulted while walking along a busy road yesterday evening. She had been in the company of another woman walking near a pedestrian crossing close to Katherine Park in Airdrie before the incident happened at 5.20pm. As a male jogger passed by, he touched the victim inappropriately over her clothing before running off along Forrest Street. Police are working to identify witnesses of the assault in a bid to trace the culprit. The man is described as being around 5ft 6in tall, with a very slim build and aged between 16 to 20-years-old. He was wearing dark coloured running clothes at the time of the attack.
