MRC SAYS $570M PROJECT PUTS NO PRESSURE ON SANDOWN

The
Caulfield racecourse was long-range and in no way fast tracked potential revenue options involving
Sandown racecourse.
The club also said that reports of a meeting to be held Friday, where the MRC would pitch to the
Dandenong council for rezoning approval for Sandown, was inaccurate and that there were no imminent plans for such a pitch.
“The Sandown situation has not changed, other than that we are continuing to explore options and that requires liaison with council,”
