Stage Audio Works bolsters sales team with Lee Thomson

South African pro audio specialist Stage Audio Works has appointed Lee Thomson to the newly created position of project sales manager, as part of an internal restructure.
Designed to provide a more focused approach to different market sectors, the company’s restructure also sees Mike Summerfield’s role change from sales manager to distribution sales manager.
The move follows the decision to restructure the sales operation into two distinct verticals – Projects and Distribution – to better serve both markets.
The Projects team will look after markets served directly by Stage Audio Works. These include key accounts in the house of worship, themed attractions and casinos, sports, and performing arts sectors. The Distribution team will manage markets primarily served through a reseller/integrator channel, such as corporate AV, education, retail and broadcast, plus rental and staging companies.

PK Sound introduces Trinity Install line array element

Robotic line array specialist PK Sound has introduced an installation iteration of its Trinity large-format line array element.
The new Trinity Install element is designed to bring the same performance capabilities of the live Trinity system to a variety of installation applications.
Trinity Install’s SPL and clarity can be controlled with variable coverage in both the vertical and horizontal planes. Intelligibility is improved by directing the system’s energy away from reflective surfaces as coverage is adjusted to meet the architectural design of the venue.
