The mandatory hotel quarantine rule that went into effect Monday doesn’t seem to be affecting so-called snowbirds spending their winters down south.
A significant number of Canadians who flew south said they intend to remain in the warmer climate for several more weeks or until there is an easing of restrictions for air travellers, said Denise Dumont, editor in chief of the French newspaper Le Soleil de la Floride.
