Staff headcount at iVendi is set to “almost double” over the next three years, in support of expansion plans in the UK and Europe, says chief executive James Tew.
The online automotive finance software specialist said that the business s number of software developers would increase by more than 100% and that an “ambitious” recruitment campaign is underway in this area.
Tew said that iVendi plans to “maximise the presence” of its vehicle retailing platform, in existing markets while expanding into other countries across Europe.
He said: “We have created strong foundations and now intend to build imaginatively on our achievements to date.

Daniel Glenn has joined iVendi as vice president of technical operations, responsible for building an IT team that will expand to support the company’s growth plans over the next three years.
He joins the motor retail technology business from MAG-O, the digital division of Manchester Airport Group, where he was head of technology.
Glenn has previously held senior technology positions at The Radical Company and American Management Systems, as well as being IT director and architect at The Sports Predictor.
Over the last few years, iVendi has developed a technical platform that provides a secure, compliant, highly resilient, cloud-based service to thousands of dealers in the UK and Germany.

42,000 HSENI Farm Safety Calendars set for distribution
The Chief Executive of the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI), Robert Kidd, has launched the ‘Avoid Harm on the Farm’ child safety 2021 calendar which will be distributed through primary schools to 42,000 rural homes across Northern Ireland.

In previous years HSENI staff would have visited rural primary schools throughout Northern Ireland in the run-up to the summer holidays; delivering farm safety messages and encouraging pupils to enter HSENI’s ‘Avoid Harm on the Farm’ calendar competition.

In previous years HSENI staff would have visited rural primary schools throughout Northern Ireland in the run-up to the summer holidays; delivering farm safety messages and encouraging pupils to enter HSENI’s ‘Avoid Harm on the Farm’ calendar competition.
Unfortunately this year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, personal visits were not possible, however, the poster competition continued on a virtual platform.
