Way Too Early Initial 53 Man Roster Predictions By Kyle Swagger on May 12, 2021, 9:59am EDT +
Quarterbacks - Carson Wentz, Jacob Eason
This one seems pretty easy unless they decide to bring in a veteran backup at the last minute.
Running Backs - Jonathan Taylor, Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines, Deon Jackson
Taylor and Hines are locks and Mack should be as well unless his Achilles injury makes him completely lose his explosiveness. Jordan Wilkins is probably more likely to end up RB4 but since this is last year under contract I think the colts might move on if Jackson can hold his own on special teams.
Big Q & Company - A Look at Our OFFENSIVE LINE Position Group By BertAlert! on May 6, 2021, 12:54am EDT +
POSITION GROUP - OFFENSIVE LINE: Grade (B+)
I do expect this group to be considered and A by the end of next week. I believe Ballard is looking to address the LT starting job with either Fisher, Leno, or Okung. I am not diving into the difference other than mentioning that we would more than likely see Tevi starting the first 3-4 games if Fisher is chosen. Fountain s story is one that s an unfortunate example of what could ve been. He was drafted out of a small school in Northern Iowa as a big receiver (6 2 , 210) with good athleticism. He earned a little bit of playing time late in his rookie season. He dominated during training camp the following summer and was arguably the best storyline on the team but suffered a devastating ankle injury near the end of camp that ended his season before it began. He returned in 2020, and although he continued to look great on the practice field, he just never caught on permanently. He now is an unrestricted free agent.
