Rumors of the enigmatic AMD 4700S processor part have been making the rounds for several months since last year and its existence was finally confirmed when the company itself, without any prior announcement, put up an official page for the product last month (spotted by Twitter user @harukaze5719).
AMD also confirmed today to Tom s Hardware that over 80 new designs based on the 4700S desktop kit will be available for purchase via different system integrators and OEMs. In fact, some of them are already being sold in the Asian market with prices of the systems ranging from ~$320 to ~$700.
