It would be second generation racer (son of the Tall Cool One - Bob Pierce) holding off friend Devin Moran (son of the Million Dollar Man - Donnie Moran) at the conclusion of the 30 lapper.  Pierce thanked the usual crew, family and friends in victory lane in front of the DirtVision.com cameras, then took a moment to wish special love to his Aunt Jen Hawk who d earlier in the day passed away from a brain aneurysm. Hawk, with husband Larry, own Premier Waste Services, one of Bobby s primary sponsors on the racecar. Behind Moran was Hudson O Neil in Maryville s Roger Sellars owned team, Shepard and Darryl Lannigan of Kentucky.

Photo: Heath Lawson Photography TAMPA, Fla. - Tyler Erb made a late-race pass on Brandon Overton to win Tuesday night’s Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida. A caution flew on the final lap for Brandon Sheppard just before the checkered flag, setting up a duel between Erb and Overton for the top of the podium. The victory for Erb was his 10th career win in series competition, his third career win at East Bay, and his third overall win of 2021.

Photo: Heath Lawson Photography TAMPA, Fla. - Hudson O’Neal held off Brandon Sheppard to win on opening night of the Wrisco Industries 45th Annual Winternationals at East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida on Monday. O’Neal picked up the lead for good on lap 20 and held it to the checkered flag. The win marked his eighth career Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory and his second at East Bay. Sheppard finished .359 seconds behind O’Neal at the checkers. Evans, Georgia’s Brandon Overton came home in the third finishing position. Devin Moran finished fourth, with Earl Pearson, Jr. in fifth.
