It s a horror movie franchise that started back in 2000. The main character, played by actor Devon Sawa, has a vision of an aircraft disaster and gets off of the plane just before it takes off. and it inevitably crashes.
For 90 or so minutes, he and the other passengers who left the plane are chased by death, as they were
supposed to die on the plane.
The deaths are eccentric and outrageous, but the CGI used in the film makes things quite bloody and disgusting.
It’s an homage to classic vampire movies and, of course, classic Italian spaghetti Westerns. I just mixed the two genres. I didn’t think anyone would have done it before. Basically [the character] Death Rider travels to the vampire sanctuary out in the middle of the desert, and then it all goes crazy after that… He knows that the price of admission is a virgin. So he brings a girl on a horse.”

He adds: “
Death Rider will be probably rated R. Look, I don’t even care about the rating system. I think it’s all out the window. Kids can go online and see the most sick shit in the world. All there is a little disclaimer that says you are over 18, and you click on it [laughs]. In 2021, we’re talking about a rating system? It’s ridiculous.”
Pretty much everyone has seen
Scream (1996), and even if you’re one of the unlucky few who hasn’t, it’s a sure bet you’re familiar with the premise. In this Wes Craven/Kevin Williamson classic, someone in a ghostface mask is bumping off teenagers in spectacular fashion. But it’s not all just vivisecting jocks and decapitating cheerleaders. There’s a dense layer of postmodern trope subversion on underneath Drew Barrymore’s shrieks. Not only does it skewer 80s teen slashers but it more or less sets the tone for the teen slasher revival.
