Delhi on Tuesday reported 623 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest in two and a half months, and 62 more deaths, while the positivity rate fell below one percent for the second consecutive day.
Delhi reported 1,141 new coronavirus cases today and 139 deaths in the last 24 hours - a steady decline in the past few days - as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that the capital will start gradually unlocking from Monday.

The national capital today reported 3,231 fresh COVID-19 cases, the lowest since April 1. The city saw 233 deaths in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate fell to 5.5 per cent, government data shows.
The number of fresh Covid cases in Delhi has been falling in recent days. This downward trend in fresh infections comes after weeks of rising cases amid the deadly second wave of the pandemic, which led to shortage of medical oxygen in hospitals in the early days of the second wave.
The number of single-day cases was 2,790 on April 1 in the lowest ever one-day spike before today.

The national capital recorded 6,430 new COVID-19 cases and 337 fatalities today while the positivity rate dipped to 11.32 per cent, even as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal asserted that the cases are slowly and steadily reducing in Delhi.
This is the second consecutive day when Delhi has recorded less than 10,000 cases in a day.

Delhi recorded 341 more coronavirus deaths and 19,832 new infections today, while the positivity rate remained below 25 per cent for the second consecutive day, the Health Department said.
This is the fourth time in the last five days that the number of new cases remained below 20,000.
There are 91,035 active cases and over 11.83 lakh people have recovered, according to a health bulletin.
