Delhi reported less than 1,000 fresh cases of coronavirus for the third straight day today 871. The number of deaths over the last 24 hours 18 is the lowest recorded in the last three months. The last time the 24-hour tally of deaths was this low was on September 8, when 19 deaths were reported.

Delhi recorded 1,091 fresh COVID-19 cases on Sunday, the lowest in around four months, as the total number of such cases climbed to 6,17,005 in the national capital, authorities said.
Twenty-six more fatalities pushed the death count due to the disease to 10,277 in the city. The positivity rate stood at 1.31 per cent.

Delhi recorded 1,139 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the lowest in nearly four months, as the positivity rate slipped further to 1.3 per cent, authorities said.
The death count mounted to 10,251 with 32 new fatalities, they said.
This is the fifth consecutive day when the positivity rate has remained below 2 per cent. It stood at 1.6 per cent and 1.51 per cent on Friday and Thursday respectively.

Delhi recorded 1,547 fresh COVID-19 cases on Wednesday with over 79,000 tests conducted, even as the positivity rate stood at 1.96 per cent, authorities said.
The deaths mounted to 10,147 with 32 new fatalities, while the active case tally dropped to 13,261 from 14,480 the previous day, they said.
This is the second consecutive day when the positivity rate remained below two per cent.
The death in Delhi count mounted to 10,182 with 35 new fatalities, authorities said.

These 1,363 fresh cases, lowest since August 31, came out the record 90,354 tests conducted the previous day, including 49,102 RT-PCR tests and 41,252 rapid antigen tests, according to the latest bulletin issued by the Delhi health department.
On August 31, the city had recorded 1,358 cases.
