KARACHI: Bookme.pk, one of Pakistanâs most widely used platforms for booking tickets online, has partnered with Telenor Pakistan, a statement said on Monday.
Through this partnership, over 46 million users of Telenor Pakistan will be able to recharge their mobile balance and buy packages and bundles through the Bookme.pk app/website, it added.
Telenor Pakistan and Bookme.pk are nurturing cross industry partnerships to further strengthen the countryâs digital ecosystem. This collaboration enhances customer experience through smooth and seamless transactions.
âWeâre continuously exploring new channels to facilitate our customers and this partnership is a testament to that commitment,â said Umair Mohsin, chief marketing officer of Telenor Pakistan.
USF Board okays Rs8b contract for broadband services for remote areas

LAHORE: The Universal Service Fund (USF) Board approved award of contracts, worth approximately Rs8.81 billion, to provide high speed mobile broadband services for around 6 million people in un-served and under-served areas of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Advised by the Federal Minister for Information Technology (IT) and Telecommunication, Syed Amin Ul Haque, the USF Board also approved award of ‘Next Generation Broadband for Sustainable Development’ contracts to Telenor, Ufone and Jazz and optic fiber cable contracts to PTCL. These projects were approved in the 75th board of directors meeting of USF, presided over by the Federal Secretary for Ministry of Information Technology (IT) and Chairman of USF Board Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui.
