How Raast will enhance Pakistan’s digital economy

Sans chest thumping or backslapping, Pakistan has entered the age of digital economy by announcing a new government-run instant digital payment system called Raast or “Direct Way” in a bid to boost financial inclusion and government revenue in the country. According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the moving force behind Raast, the new digital system will be rolled out in three phases culminating in early 2022. KARACHI: Telenor Pakistan has partnered with TPL Trakker so its customers could use detailed, local maps for navigation via the MyTelenor App, a statement said on Wednesday.
The new app update has been especially mapped for Pakistan to chart out accurate local routes and help MyTelenor app users navigate through enriched and densely populated areas. The update also offers features like comprehensive search, location details, and option to add new locations as well as routing to a location, all within the app.
