CDC data shows Sussex County entering Covid-19 red zone Reading Time: 2 minutes The state’s southernmost county is now in the red zone, thanks to a  substantial level of community transmission. The transmission rate for Kent and Sussex counties is still listed as moderate, although cases numbers are rising in all three counties.
