COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Richland County Councilmembers are teaming up to help distribute the COVID-19 vaccine.
Gretchen Barron, Jesica Mackey, Derrek Pugh and Overture Walker are partnering with statewide elected officials to hold three vaccine clinics during the month of April in Northeast Richland.
The effort to provide free COVID-19 vaccinations to residents is a collaboration between the Councilmembers, S.C. Sen. John Scott and S.C. Reps. Kambrell Garvin, Chris Hart and Ivory Thigpen in coordination with Medical University of South Carolina Health.

COLUMBIA, S.C. Three vaccine clinics will be hosted in northeast Richland County at the end of April, in coordination with MUSC Health.
Elected officials representing Richland County including State Senator John Scott (D-Richland), State Representative Kambrell Garvin (D-Richland), State Representative Chris Hart (D-Richland), State Representative Ivory Thigpen (D-Richland), Councilwoman Gretchen Barron, Councilwoman Jesica Mackey, Councilman Derrek Pugh, and Councilman Overture Walker have partnered with MUSC Health to make these clinics happen.
The clinic locations and times are as follows:
Killian Park,1424 Marthan Rd., Blythewood, on Tuesday, April 27th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)– Richland County Councilman Derrek Pugh is hosting a series of free COVID-19 testing and mask giveaway events. You can pick up a mask and get a free test Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Doko Manor Park at 100 Alvina Hagood Circle. There will be another mask giveaway at the same time at Doko Manor Park on April 10.
The face masks at the drive-thru event will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
Councilman Pugh is also scheduled to host mask giveaways on March 27 and April 24 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at St. Andrews Park, located at 920 Beatty Road in Columbia.

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) Richland County Councilman Derrek Pugh is joining the fight against the spread of COVID-19 by holding a series of free COVID-19 testing and mask giveaway events.
Residents can receive a COVID-19 test and face coverings will be available first come, first serve at the free, drive-thru events.
