Along the street: Dine Out(Side) begins second season next week

Downtown restaurants will serve food and beverages at tables set up on Third Street during McMinnville’s Dine Out(side) program, which starts its second year Friday, May 28.
Third Street will be closed to traffic throughout the weekends so diners can enjoy their meals and, at some sites, listen to music.

CRUSH2CELLAR & ETS LABORATORIES PRESS RELEASE
Newberg, Oregon – May 2021 – Local winery supplier Crush2Cellar and independent wine analysis lab ETS Laboratories are pleased to announce the unveiling of their newly renovated brick and mortar location in Newberg, OR in time for the 2021 harvest season.
The night of Sunday, October 4th, 2020, a driver drove through the storefront and crashed their automobile into the shared building that houses Crush2Cellar and ETS Labs’ Oregon location. Fortunately, no staff were onsite at the time and the driver did not sustain any injuries. Despite the damage and destruction caused to the co-located building, both businesses remained open throughout the past six months of renovations so that customers could continue to come purchase products for harvest, drop off or pickup samples from ETS, and more.
Along the Street: Flâneur turning old warehouse into winery
Marcus Larson/News-Register ## Just southeast of Flâneur Wine’s outdoor tasting room, the winery’s new production facility is being built in a former warehouse. Flâneur will be making wines in Carlton by fall; its tasting room in the historic grain elevator has been open since 2019.
Flâneur Wines, which already has a destination tasting room in a century-old granary in Carlton, is remodeling an old warehouse building next door to become a wine production facility.
The warehouse lies just across the old railroad bed from the tasting room. Built in 1974 by a beer distributor, it has held manufacturing and retail businesses in the past.
