Sun âN Fun Plans For In-Person Expo
Sun nâ Fun is going forward with its annual expo this year following the cancellation of the 2020 event due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Organizers say they are expecting to host âhundreds of exhibitorsâ along with forums, workshops and aerial displays. Featured airshow performances will include the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, F-22 Raptor Demo Team and Aeroshell Aerobatic Team.
âOur event certainly suffered alongside the rest of the world when the pandemic forced us to cancel last year,â said Greg Gibson, Sun ân Fun chief marketing officer and airshow director, âbut we are coming back better than ever in 2021 with new and exciting things for our guests in a COVID-responsible venue that has their safety and enjoyment as top priorities.â

The Canadian Forces Snowbirds and CF-18 Demo Team both released tentative schedules for the 2021 show season, which are subject to change because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
A day before releasing the schedules, the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) appointed Captain Dan Deluce as the pilot for its 2021 CF-18 Demonstration Team, which is comprised of 13 members including the demo pilot, eight technicians, three safety pilots and a public affairs officer/narrator.
“It is an honour and a pleasure flying the CF-18 for Canada and representing the RCAF, and I am looking forward to sharing my passion for aviation with Canadians next summer,” said Captain Deluce, CF-18 Demonstration Team Pilot.
The Great Pacific Airshow announces that plans are underway for the Oct. 1-3, 2021 airshow in Huntington Beach, Calif., which for the first time will feature top performers from the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines.

The 2021 air show schedule for the Air Force’s F-35A Lightning II Demonstration Team has been officially released.
Announced Dec. 8 during the Virtual International Council of Airshows annual conference, the Utah-based team is scheduled to display the capabilities of the F-35A at approximately 22 performances starting in April 2021 and running through December.
