Kenny Shiels’ history-making Northern Ireland team came together last Monday as they step up preparations for their Euro 2022 play-off in April. They will discover their opponents for that two-legged tie on 8th March, as they look to qualify for their first ever major finals.
Before that however, they face England at St. George’s Park and despite their squad being somewhat depleted by both injuries and players’ work-commitments , this spirited bunch are ‘buzzing’ to take on the challenge of coming up against ‘one of the best teams in the world’. It’s an opportunity to bring in younger players, to make further progress as a group and to continue to make a nation proud.

They have 18 points, three more than today s opponents, while Celtic, who inflicted the only defeat on Rangers, have 13.

RANGERS hit nine past Motherwell this afternoon in a fantastic showing from Malky Thomson’s side.
It really was a super performance from the Gers with hat-tricks from Lizzie Arnot and Kirsty Howat. Megan Bell, Daina Bourma and Bala Devi were also on the scoresheet at Rangers Training Centre.
Thomson named five changes from the last outing in Forfar with Sam Kerr, Rachel McLauchlan, Kirsty Howat, Carly Girasoli and Megan Bell coming into the team with Brogan Hay, Emma Brownlie, Clare Gemmell and Daina Bourma on the bench.
Demi Vance was out of the squad after picking up a knee injury while on international duty with Northern Ireland.
