Mitchell recommended Jessica Davis to serve in his chair as an at-large council member to fulfill the remaining 11 months on this current term. “Jessica has an understanding of how city government works,” Mitchell wrote in a letter to Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles and members of city council. “Jessica is a team player, and passionate about helping to improve the lives of our citizens.
