Would El Pasoans Vote For Matthew McConaughey For Governor?
Rumors have been swirling for months that actor Matthew McConnaughey may be running for Texas Governor and now there s more evidence he just might be.
Matthew McConaughey is known as a Hollywood A-lister and Oscar winner, but could he also be trying to add Texas Governor to his list of accomplishments? If you believe a new report from Politico, he wants to. The news outlet is reporting that McConaughey has made at least two phone calls to two prominent Texas political influencers, a deep-pocketed moderate Republican and energy CEO. The calls reportedly dealt with his serious thoughts on throwing his hat into the Texas Governor competition.

(Seguin) – The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs (32-4) are returning to the NCAA Division III Softball national finals and will play in defense of their 2019 national championship after defeating Emory & Henry (Va.) 10-2 in five innings Sunday for the Seguin, Texas Regional Championship.
TLU went a perfect 4-0 in the regional, played at the Bulldogs’ Ed Kruse Stadium (Morck Softball Field).
The top-seeded Bulldogs opened with a 21-3 win over No. 6 seed Cedar Crest (Pa.) on Friday, eliminated No. 3 seed Christopher Newport (Va.) 4-2 on Saturday afternoon, and defeated Emory & Henry 5-0 Saturday evening to advance to the regional championship.
Nothing like ancient laws that are still in effect. Also, nothing like laws from the 70s that have even been updated within the past 20 years that still seem antiquated. There was a bill passed in Texas back in 1973 called The Obscene Device Law , which prohibited the sale or promotion of devices that are used to stimulate your no-no zone. These devices are otherwise known as dildos or artificial vaginas.
This bill got an update in 2003, but it still includes a part where you can t own more than 6 dildos in the state of Texas. Now, is this something that people have generally needed to be wary of because police were making rampant, sweeping arrests of people who own dildos? No. But there have been stories of people getting busted. And these stories are crazy.
