Starting Friday night at 7:30pm, the Texas Department of Transportation is going to close FM 2818 between George Bush (FM 2347) and FM 60 (Raymond Stotzer Pkwy).
Detour signing will be in place to provide the public alternate routes to get around the closure. The closure is anticipated to end by 6:00 am on Monday, June 13, 2021. Wellborn Road and Texas Avenue are alternative North-South routes

BRAZOS COUNTY, TX â A young teen was shot and injured in Bryan early Saturday morning, only hours after a person was killed in front of an H-E-B grocery store in College Station. All unfolded just one day after a shooting that took place outdoors in a College Station neighborhood, leaving one person unconscious and hospitalized. Police say these incidents are all unrelated, though they are not providing many details of the cases at this time.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas Two people are recovering in the hospital Friday night following a shooting at an H-E-B parking lot in College Station.
The College Station Police say they were called out to the grocery store on Texas Avenue South around 8:21 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one person on the scene suffering from serious injuries. That person was transported to a nearby hospital, police say.
This evening, a shooting took place at the H-E-B on Holleman Drive and Texas Avenue less than a mile from the Texas A&M campus.
According to KBTX, at least one person was shot in the parking lot of the store at around 8:30 p.m. This person is currently receiving hospital care in Bryan for critical injuries.
College Station Police, or CSPD, has not released any information regarding the shooter or the events surrounding the shooting.
UPDATE 9:55 p.m.: According to CSPD, a second person has shown up at another area hospital with serious injuries. The victim is believed to be connected to the same incident.
