The driver of a gray 2014 Nissan Maxima rear-ended a blue 2017 Chevrolet Silverado in the area of Vermont Street. Police identified the driver of the Nissan as Dwight Lloyd, 34, from Provincetown. Police cited him for following too closely. The car was towed from the scene. The driver of a gray Toyota RAV4 was going in the direction of Sagamore Beach. The driver, identified as Gilbert Ferreira, 87, from Bourne, attempted a left turn onto Church Lane and collided with a white 2018 Hyundai Sonata headed toward Buzzards Bay. Mr. Ferreira was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two people in the Hyundai were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Both vehicles were towed. Police cited Mr. Ferreira for making an improper turn.
