A Blossvale man was sentenced to 4 years and 9 months in federal prison Tuesday, after pleading guilty to illegally possessing two firearms and more than 100 rounds of ammunition as a convicted felon.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – A Blossvale man was sentenced to 4 years and 9 months in federal prison Tuesday, after pleading guilty to illegally possessing two firearms and more than 100 rounds of ammunition as a convicted felon.
In 2001, Joseph W. Cromp was convicted of felony attempted assault, making it illegal for him possess guns.
DANGER: Potholes in Cllr Morgan s ward A COUNCILLOR has vowed to tackle potholes across his ward following complaints by residents. Cllr Andy Morgan, who represents the Heaton and Lostock ward, said that officials were constantly having to chase their tails with pothole complaints, due to their ever-appearing nature. The recent spate of cold weather has brought out new potholes, with old roads cracking due to the freezing temperatures. Cllr Morgan has shared photos from across his ward of badly damaged roads, highlighting the danger that they pose to road users. They include Broadford and Dealey Road in Ladybridge. Cllr Morgan said: Our Highways Teams continue to do an amazing job during what are unprecedented times, what with the ongoing pandemic and more recently the freezing weather we have experienced over the past couple of weeks.
