The coronavirus lockdown in Greater Sydney will be extended another week destroying plans to host the State of Origin third round clash at Sydney Olympic Park.

State of Origin III will be moved from Sydney as NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian extends coronavirus lockdown.
Greater Sydney was plunged into a two-week lockdown from 6pm on Saturday June 26 in an attempt to control the highly contagious Delta strain.
Ms Berejiklian will on Wednesday announce the stay-at-home order will continue for at least one more week, until 11.59pm on Friday July 16.
