For the past year, most companies have learned their employees can work from home and get their job done without the old-school managers hovering over their shoulders. The memo from American Airlines regarding attendants on standby status treats these highly trained workers like inexperienced newbie

Students at Lone Star High School in Frisco wrote English essays during a practice test in February 2011. Frisco ISD gave most of its STAAR tests online, but a tech glitch bogged down the system and even deleted some students answers.
