The last known brewery in Waconia closed its doors back in 1890. The city remained without a brewery for nearly 125 years.
In 2014, Bob and Dee Delange, both craft beer enthusiasts, decided it’s time to get the city brewing again. They opened the Waconia Brewing Company.
The Waconia Brewing Company is a family-friendly brewery with good beer, their own root beer and there is always popcorn. Even Fido is welcome!
Carver County Kolsch is a German style of beer with a light blonde color and a white fluffy head. It has a light malty aroma with mild spicy hop notes.
