The latest Covid-19 fines handed out at Bradford Magistrates Court

Bradford Magistrates Court A NUMBER of people have recently been hit with fines at Bradford Magistrates’ Court for breaching Covid-19 rules. The cases have only recently come to court, but date back to November last year. Erika Kis, 29, of Tivoli Place, Canterbury, Bradford, must pay a total of £2,021. On November 1 and 19 last year she participated in an indoors gathering of two or more people. She was fined £1,760 and must also pay a £176 surcharge and costs of £85.  Karl Anthony Rodgers, 30, of Acre House, Sticker Lane, was fined the same amount for leaving/being outside the place he was living, without reasonable excuse on November 21 last year.

Duke Street unit where a new bar has been granted planning permission AN application has been made for an alcohol and music licence at a planned new bar in the city centre. The premises licence application has been made to Bradford Council from Stevan Shaw to use the Duke Street venue for the sale of alcohol on and off the premises and provision of regulated entertainment. Planning permission has already been granted for the bar. Representations should be made to Licensing Team, 3rd Floor Argus Chambers Bradford, BD1 1HX by February 17. The Licensing Register may be inspected at the above address from Monday to Thursday, 9am-5pm, Fridays from 9am-4.30pm.
