Dylan Shiel has declared he is closing in on a return to the AFL, after nearly four months on the sidelines due to a knee injury.
“(I’m) almost ready to declare myself fit to play,” he told
the Breakfast Club on RSN927.
“There’s different ways to go about it, you can get experience and play some footy… or you can manipulate your training,” he said.
It was initially feared that Shiel would miss the remainder of the season after he tore his meniscus against Port Adelaide in Round 2.
