Deputies arrest Oroville murder suspect 18 months later
Deputies said they arrested a suspect who killed a man in Oroville in December 2019.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - After 18 months of investigating, the Butte County Sheriff s Office said they made an arrest for the murder of an Oroville man in December 2019.
On Friday, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Dylan Rice, 27, after they gathered enough evidence to connect him to the murder of Jacob McArthur, 39, according to the Butte County Sheriff s Office.
McArthur was killed after suffering a gunshot wound at a home located in the 700 block of Craig Access Road in Oroville. Detectives said they suspected the murder of McArthur was related to the illegal sales of marijuana.
