Trans-Tasman Travel Bubble to open April 19th scandal 3 hours ago
The heavily discussed possibility of a Trans-Tasman Travel bubble has finally become reality, with a start date being set for April 19
th.
Prime Minister Jacinda Arden and COVID-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins confirmed the date during a live press conference this afternoon as all requirements for the bubble to take place safely have been met – This means quarantine free travel, which equals to SO many possibilities for international and national artists to resume live shows and festivals down under!
“The Director-General of Health considers the risk of transmission of COVID-19 from Australia to New Zealand is low and that quarantine free travel is safe to commence,” Ardern said, adding that today is a “new chapter in our recovery.”
