NHS data shows 35,423 people had received both jabs by May 16. In Marlbrook and Lickey End 82.9 percent of people aged 16 and over have been given their first dose. A spokesperson for NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire CCG said: “We are really pleased with how well the Covid-19 vaccination programme is being rolled out, and for all the continued support and efforts from all partners involved. Thank you to everyone who has received their Covid-19 vaccine so far. We continue to urge anyone who is eligible and is invited for the vaccine to ensure they take up the offer.”

POLICE are investigating after a spate of anti-social behaviour from youngsters in Wythall and Drakes Cross. Officers were called to Wythall Park at around 4.30pm on Tuesday (April 20) to reports of a group of teenagers being abusive towards other children and their parents. Further calls were received at around 7.30pm after youths throwing eggs and flour targeted the Fanaris Fish Bar on Drakes Cross Parade as well as other motorists and passers-by. In response to the issues and heightened community fears, West Mercia Police has stepped up its patrols in and around the Wythall area. The local Safer Neighbourhood Team will also be holding a street surgery on Thursday, April 22 to discuss residents’ concerns.
