The farmers marched towards the Patiala residence of the Punjab chief minister, but police stopped them midway. Some of the protesters then blocked the road leading to the chief minister s residence. Satnam Singh, a farmer who was part of the protest, told reporters that the compensation being offered by authorities concerned was not acceptable to them.

In solidarity with the farmers agitation in India, celebrated YouTuber Lilly Singh wore a mask in their support as she attended the Grammy Awards 2021 in Los Angeles on March 14. Lilly shared a picture of herself, as she posed on the Grammys Red Carpet, dressed in a black power suit and wearing a mask that reads, I Stand With Farmers.
Delhi Police has informed that no road has been dug up at the city s borders in view of the agitation but security is strengthened, the minister said in the Lok Sabha.

New Delhi: The farmers protesting the Centre s three farm laws will block the 135-km-long Western Peripheral Expressway for five hours on Saturday to mark 100 days of the stir. The call to block the expressway is a part of the strategy to intensify the ongoing protest which had begun on November 26.
According to a statement issued by Samyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM), thousands of farmers will block the expressway between 11 AM and 4 PM.
