Dragon Quest Celebrates Turning 35 With New Game Announcements
Dragon Quest, one of the most influential and successful JRPG franchises is celebrating its 35th birthday today. In celebration of this milestone birthday Square Enix announced three new titles that are in early stages of development that will have the same global release date, which are Dragon Quest XII, Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and Dragon Quest Treasures. In addition to these titles, a mobile puzzle game with the working title Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi (final name TBD) was announced during the livestream, which has been archived for viewing here. Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi is a free to play mobile game for Android and iOS that features characters and monsters from Dragon Quest games to erase graffiti. The teaser trailers for the other three aforementioned games can be viewed below.

Square Enix dropped a bunch of new announcements revolving around
Dragon Quest during a special livestream this evening. As part of the game s 35th Anniversary, we got a look at a number of different items on the way, including the reveal that
Dragon Quest XII is in the works. We also saw they re doing a remake of
DQ3, which looks a lot like

Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Stream Set For May 26
The upcoming livestream event will offer a look at what s going on and what s yet to come in the world of Dragon Quest.
Square Enix is commemorating the Dragon Quest series 35th anniversary with a special livestream event on May 26. The stream kicks off at 8:30 PM PT / 11:30 PM ET and will offer the latest information about what s going on and what s yet to come in the world of Dragon Quest.
According to the publisher, the event will be streamed in Japanese with live English interpretation so that Western fans can follow along. For the first time in Dragon Quest history, the show will feature live English interpretation from Japanese, so that our international fans can stay up-to-date with developments in the Dragon Quest series, too, Square Enix said.
