NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Offensive lineman Bo Bordelon produced a memorable first season at Newman, and now big-time college programs are starting to take notice. Bordelon’s latest scholarship offer, a big one, the LSU Fighting’ Tigers.

“I didn’t get the call. Coach (Nelson) Stew(art) came and got me out of Spanish class. It was coach (James) Cregg (LSU O-line coach) and Coach O on the phone. We were FaceTiming them. He walked into my Spanish class and said ‘hey come see I got some news for you.’ So he pulled me out, we went on the football field. Then we talked to the coaches, and then they offered me,” said Newman junior Bo Bordelon.
