Gov. Charlie Baker said Thursday that there is very little vaccine hesitancy in Massachusetts. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Massachusetts has the lowest statewide hesitancy rate in the country at 7%. People in Massachusetts are eager to get vaccinated, Baker said. This enthusiasm is a critical part of making Massachusetts the leading state among all big states in getting our residents vaccinated. While many are getting vaccinated and cases are going down in the state, the governor stressed that everyone needs to remain vigilant. But that’s not the case across the country.  On the Today show, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky spoke of the ongoing push to get to herd immunity.
