According to reports from Page Six, rapper DaBaby was reportedly involved in a shooting in South Beach, Miami, where two individuals sustained gunshot injuries in the street gunfight.
In a statement to the Local 10 News on Tuesday, Ernesto Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami Beach Police Department, affirmed that “a lot of the suspected subjects” have been apprehended, as well as DaBaby, after he and his companion were suspected to be a part of the shooting, which took place on Monday. The shooting supposedly took place close to Ocean Drive and First Street after 11:30 p.m.
According to a tweet written by Andy Slater, The Andy Slater Show host, “DaBaby fired off at least one round outside Prime 112 in Miami Beach, telling cops he did it in self-defense.”

Miami Beach Police Department spokesman Ernesto Rodriguez confirmed to Local 10 News that the rapper and his entourage were detained and are suspected to be involved.
Page Six reports, “DaBaby and his crew had an issue with people right next to them in the car. DaBaby and his crew were traveling in around six SUVs, and either a car pulled up on them and started something or their doors hit each other and they got in a fight.”

The shooting allegedly occurred near the corner of Ocean Drive and First Street shortly after 11:30 PM on Monday.

Grammy-nominated rapper DaBaby was released after being questioned about a shooting in Miami s South Beach on Memorial Day that left two people wounded and a member of the entertainer s entourage under arrest on suspicion of attempted murder, according to police.
The shooting capped a violent holiday weekend across Miami-Dade County that included two mass shootings, in which four people were killed and more than 30 injured.
