It s all part of a $250,000 gift given to the Boys and Girls Club of America that will enhance 18 clubs nationwide. More than 50 volunteers with Boca Raton-based Office Depot donated $25,000 to the club.

‘Depot Day’ season opener planned for Saturday, May 1 Boscobel Depot Museum About half a dozen volunteers with Friends of the Depot turned out last Thursday afternoon to spruce up the museum in anticipation of its May 1 season opener. Karen Leonard, Sara Strang and Eldora Whiteaker (l-r) are seen working on the Northwest Telephone Company exhibit. The Farmer’s Market next door will also be opening for the season on May 1. BOSCOBEL The Boscobel Depot Museum Committee had its first meeting on March 31 to make plans for Saturday tours May 1 through October and a big Depot Day on Saturday, June 19.  The Museum was not open in 2020 due to Covid so there was a lot of cleaning and planning to be done.  Two afternoons of cleaning were planned and accomplished with the help of community volunteers.  Some of the displays were reviewed, re-arranged and items added. The updates and rearrangements will offer more enjoyment

Events returning to city after a quiet year due to COVID Boscobel Depot Museum BOSCOBEL - Starting with last week’s Easter Egg Hunt and Fireworks Fundraiser, the return of annual events in Boscobel signals a return to somewhat more normal times one year after the coronavirus outbreak, although officials still strongly recommend wearing masks and social distancing, as well as getting the COVID-19 vaccine when available. Beginning Saturday, May 1, the Boscobel Farmer’s Market returns to Depot Park from 8 a.m. to noon through October. May 1 also marks the opening of the Depot Heritage Museum Saturdays from 9-1, also through October. Depot Day will be held on Saturday, June 19.
