Ameren Illinois Helping Local Food Pantries To Keep Perishable Donations

Storm update Seb Foltz/Butler Eagle As of 6 p.m. Tuesday, the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh continued to estimate between 5-8 inches of snowfall across the region Wednesday. In Butler County, the services has predicted the brunt of the storm to come in the early afternoon after 1 p.m. with snow accumulation estimated between 1 and 3 inches. Winds of about 20 m.p.h. are also expected. Heading into Wednesday night, before 1 a.m. Thursday, the service forecast more snowfall between 2 and 4 inches with calmer wind conditions. The service issued a winter storm warning, which will be in effect from 7 a.m. Wednesday to 7 a.m. Thursday.
