Kia has launched a new service it says gives drivers access to more than 13,900 UK EV chargers.
KiaCharge allows Kia EV and plug-in hybrid drivers to access charging networks including BP Pulse, Pod Point, Ionity, Source London, Chargepoint, Newmotion, Char-gy, and ESB, along with other networks including some regional services, and there are plans to expand further during 2021.
This includes access to more than 1,300 rapid chargers, offering speeds above 50kW.
In addition, the service, created in partnership with Digital Charging Solutions, also allows access to more than 178,000 extra chargers across 28 other European countries.
The service can be accessed using a smartphone or an RFID card, with payments made via a monthly invoice, and there s a choice of tariffs, with an Easy option said to be aimed at light users, and Plus for more regular customers.
