Knudson | 9:40 am, Feb. 23, 2021 × The Altru Family YMCA is hosting its annual winter Indoor Triathlon on March 6. The event is open to the public. Participants will bike, swim and run during the event, which in the past has drawn competitors from as far away as Canada and Ohio, said Adam Sorum, the Y’s healthy living director. Individual scores will be based on times and winners will receive prizes, Sorum said. All activities will take place inside the YMCA building, he said. “We will follow strict CDC guidelines and everyone will be kept 12 feet apart.” Mask-wearing will be required except during the competitions, he said.
