Sunil Kumar, Darlington Community Pharmacy PCN lead COVID-19 vaccines are now available from a pharmacy in Darlington. Cockerton Pharmacy, which started offering the jabs last week, has revamped part of its premises to provide a suitable vaccination site. It is the third site in the town, with one running at Feethams House and a mass vaccination site at Darlington Arena. There are volunteer marshals helping the operation run smoothly. Sunil Kumar, Darlington Community Pharmacy Primary Care Network (PCN) lead, said: “We are absolutely delighted to see the fast pace of the vaccine programme rollout at our pharmacy.

Darlington Support volunteer Carole Fowle collecting donations at Asda SUPERMARKET shoppers have been helping feed families in need , while volunteers are helping to deliver it. The King s Foodbank in Darlington is being supported through the Fight Hunger Create Change initiative, a partnership between Asda, FareShare and the Trussell Trust. And volunteers from Darlington Support have also been getting involved by helping to deliver donations to the foodbank and food parcels to people unable to get out.
