The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) echoed on Thursday the appeal of the Council for the Welfare of Children for the public to stop the condemnation and cyber-bullying of the 13-year-old daughter of Police Senior Master Sergeant Jonel Nuezca.

The Council is an attached agency of the DSWD, which is the lead agency in social protection.
The Department said in a statement that it would put premium on the best interest of the child, including her protection from any form of abuse.
“The child will undergo psychosocial processing support or psychosocial first aid to help her recover from the trauma,” the DSWD said.
