Liquor ban remains in Tarlac areas with high Covid-19 cases

May 15, 2021 THE Provincial Government of Tarlac will still impose a liquor ban on areas with high number of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases. In a resolution on the updated guidelines for the management of Covid-19 cases in the Tarlac released on Friday, the liquor ban will still in effect in the towns of Bamban, Camiling, Capas, Concepcion, Gerona Paniqui, and Tarlac City until May 31,2021. The daily curfew will be from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. of the next day from May 16 until May 31, 2021, the resolution said. The guidelines added that face-to-face cockfighting in Tarlac is still strictly prohibited. However, cockfighting for the sole purpose of e-sabong licensed and regulated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) is allowed.

AFP, partners provide vegetables to residents in Tarlac City

TARLAC CITY, May 12 (PIA) — About 127 families from barangay Pando in Tarlac City received assorted vegetables from Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and partners. AFP units participating in this activity dubbed as Kapwa Ko, Sagot Ko (KKSK) include Northern Luzon Command, 1st Civil.

Mobile pet community pantries distribute dog and cat food in Biñan and Sta Rosa, Laguna

Instead of the usual rice, canned goods, and vegetables, the tables offer packs of food for dogs and cats. (Animal Kingdom Foundation / MANILA BULLETIN) These are the mobile pet stalls set up by Animal Kingdom Foundation (AKF) under its #BARKyanihan Project, inspired by the good hoomans of Maginhawa. The group set up the mobile pet stations in Barangays Soro-Soro and Tubigan in Biñan on April 21 and in Barangay Dita in Sta. Rosa on April 22. The project aims to assist pet owners in feeding their cats and dogs amid the pandemic.
