Popular drummer Tony Garcia dies after Covid-19 illness
Garcia, 60, died Monday, surrounded by his wife, son and daughter, after becoming ill with Covid-19.
“We would like to say thank you to everyone for all your continued love, support and prayers,” the family said in a social media post.
Tim Osterhout met Garcia about five years ago doing a weekly Tuesday night music show at what was then Mankas Corner.
When asked what Osterhout admired most about Garcia, his reply was a question in turn.
